How to verify SSL?

1. To complete the verification process for File method:

1. Create a certum.txt file.

2. Include the verification code / TXT Code in the content of the file:-

For example:- "33fef912bed49d91411bda3ba0b3da4eb9026d26631dbba30fe4758162dd477-certum.pl".
(To find verification code / TXT Code:- SSL Certificate - Click on SSL Id- TXT Code)

3. Place the file on the hosting server of the domain name "Yourdomain.com" in the folder - /.well-known/pki-validation/
   
            (Note:- During the initial verification process, it is required for the user to create these folders.)

4. Check if the file is publicly available by going to yourdomain.com/.well-known/pki-validation/certum.txt

2. To complete the verification process for DNS_TXT method:

1.  Create a TXT record in the DNS database for domains “yourdomain.com”.

2. Place the following string of characters
   
   For Example:- “5dc75b4fa23dfeba664e7237d728d5d59aa68c27bc9040a766aa06a” as the content of the record.

3.  Check if the record is publicly available - it can take up to 24 hours to update DNS records. To check the content of a record you can use the tool https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#TXT/
   

After completing one of the aforementioned steps, kindly click on the "Verify the Domain" link provided in the email you have received.

> Upon completing the verification process, your SSL will become active within the next 5-10 minutes.

> Once SSL is active you can Download CA bundle & SSL certificate by clicking on SSL id > Download SSL Certificate.

Now, you can proceed to install the SSL certificate on your domain name with the assistance of your hosting service provider.
