There are 4 major types of SSL that ConnectReseller offers

  1. Commercial SSL certificate
    A Commercial SSL certificate is a standard SSL certificate that secures a single domain name (e.g., www.example.com) or subdomain (e.g., blog.example.com). It requires domain validation, and the verification time is up to 1 hour. The certificate contains the validated domain name.
  2. Commercial Wildcard SSL certificate
    A Commercial Wildcard SSL certificate is similar to a Commercial SSL certificate but can secure multiple subdomains under a single domain. For example, it can secure www.example.com, blog.example.com, and shop.example.com, among others. It requires domain validation, and the verification time is up to 1 hour. The certificate contains the validated domain name.
  3. Trusted SSL certificate
    A Trusted SSL certificate, also known as an Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificate, offers the highest level of validation and trust. It requires company validation, which involves verifying the legal and physical existence of the organization. The verification time is up to 24 hours. The certificate contains both the organization and the domain name.
  4. Trusted Wildcard SSL certificate
    A Trusted Wildcard SSL certificate combines the features of a Trusted SSL certificate with the ability to secure multiple subdomains. It requires company validation, and the verification time is up to 24 hours. The certificate contains both the organization and the domain name.
